Testimonials

You have helped so many people on the road to living a better life. God bless!

– K.K.

I cannot thank you all enough for helping me in the worst & scariest time of my life. Thank you for providing a safe space when I needed it most. Without you guys, I would be so lost. Thank you for your knowledge, care, support and helping me get myself back. You all mean more to me than you know.

– S.T.

I have thought of you often over the last few months. When I first called AVP office, you told me, ‘It gets better.’ I now know that comes from AA, but at the time I didn’t know that, and really needed to hear it. You shared your story with us at one of the classes I attended at AVP. Your story was powerful, and the fact that you were working to share it means so much. You were always professional, friendly, and kind to me, and to everyone that I saw or heard you interact with. I celebrated a year of sobriety with the help of you on 10/31. I thought it was a good time to thank you for what you do. It makes a difference.

– B.P.

Thank you for always being so friendly and helpful with me during my time here. I also want to thank you for sharing your story with us. I can only imagine how difficult it has been for you and how hard it is to relive those experiences every time you tell it, but it is honest, intense, and real. You are an amazing person, helping people by teaching a lot of valuable lessons. Good luck in all your endeavors. Truly, thank you.

– C.K.

Thank you all for making my DUI process much easier! You are all so kind and I wish you all the best!!

– A.P.

Thank you so much for all you have taught me. I am so grateful for this experience and will keep it with me always. I will miss you guys and the office, but I will visit and share my progress.

– L.O.

Thank you for everything you have done for me throughout this tough journey. This has been a very difficult time in my life, but you have guided me through it. With your real stories, knowledge, personal experiences, humor, integrity, and obvious care for others, I have not only learned a lot about the legal experience but myself personally, too. During all of this negativity in my life, I have tried to take as many positives away from it as I can – meeting you is definitely one of them, though I am not happy it happened, nor do I ever want or expect to do it again! You have been through so much in your life, but you should be proud of what you’ve learned and what you do for others. Truly, thank you.

– G.A.

DUI Process

The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the extent of the defendant’s alcohol and/or drug use and its associated risk to current or future public safety. The following areas are reviewed: the defendant’s driving history, chemical test results (blood alcohol content), Objective Test score and category, and the interview with an evaluator. When the evaluation is completed, a classification and a recommendation will be determined by the evaluator and recorded on the Alcohol and Drug Uniform Report form for the Court or the Office of te Secretary of State. This form will then be sent to the Court or given to the defendant to take to the Ofice of the Secretary of State for the driver’s license hearing.
